OVERVIEW
Curve is a 3-colour serigraph from the ‘Kodava’ series of non-representational drawings of shapes, loosely based on structures of graphs and imagined algorithms. I started making these drawings, immediately after ‘A man of the crowd’ – my solo show at TARQ in mid 2018 – while on a break in Coorg and later in Bengaluru. This particular serigraph on pink A4 sheet was made by hand, drawing the three layers separately on OHP sheets (positive) and later exposing them onto the screen. The whole process was completed in one day at Pritam Arts – a family run screen printing studio in Fort, Mumbai.
NOTE
This art-print comes packaged safe and flat, sandwiched between butter paper sheets and hard boards on both sides.
